Student Check Ins
If your child did not meet with me last week, they must meet with me this week to do our final reading check before the end of the semester. I will also be checking in on them overall to see how they are feeling. Please sign up HERE if you haven't already.

Our Weekly Learning Update
Positivity Project Word: Prudence (creating goals for the future)
Letterland: Ending digraphs (nk and ng)
Reading: Finishing "Hunter's Money Jar", we are learning about asking & answering questions and the central message of a fiction text.
Math: Nonstandard Measurement (measuring with items instead of traditional measurement) continues this week. We are going to bring in some new elements to this skill. We will be comparing and telling greater and less.
Writing: We are back to writing How-to Stories! We will have a book written by the end of this week. Students are trying to remember to take their time with their work.
Social Studies: We will be studying families from long ago and today, we will be comparing specific things from long ago and today this week.
